BYU's Inspiring Learning Initiative, Four Years Later "I hope our students will be inspired to learn, and I hope that learning leads to inspiration." BYU President Kevin J Worthen In 2017, BYU President Kevin J Worthen launched an Inspiring Learning initiative to provide students with transformative educational opportunities. Since that day, as part of this multi-million dollar campus-wide initiative, nearly 30,000 BYU students have had opportunities to participate in mentored research, service-learning and field study.
