Teaming up with makeup artist Jennine Hollingshaus and costume expert (and sister-in-law) Rhonda Montgomery, BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe goes all-out on Halloween. He’s been Aladdin’s Genie, with blue skin and elfin ears; the Phantom of the Opera, realistic scarring covering half his face; and Voldemort, slitted nose, gross fingernails, and wand. Each year’s costume is a closely guarded secret. And, until now, so has been the team and process that make it happen. Take a peek behind the curtain and wait until the end for a time-lapse of the team putting on the 2021 costume.
